Claudio Caporaso, Masker, patinated bronze, 2021, 8x10x40 cm.
Claudio Caporaso concentrates an extreme Pathos in his bronzes: in contemporary society, the mind is increasingly compressed and forced into social and cultural loopholes that suppress the truest being in us. As everyone knows, the soul was created free and immortal, and the moment it wakes up from the torpor in which it was locked, the suffocating cage begins to tear, finally revealing the truth. The process is long, arduous and sometimes painful, but by taking off the mask, the human spirit finds itself again.
The work comes with a certificate of authenticity and a gallery catalogue.
