I am Elisa Manzoni and I have graduated in History and art criticism, at the University of Milan, with a thesis on the seventeenth-century Milanese collector Manfredo Settala.
Already during the three-year study in Cultural Heritage I was able to take the first steps in the art world: first as an event organizer at the Cultural Association Giovanni Testori of Milan for the cycle “Lombard masterpieces to (re) discover”, followed by being the president of the jury for contemporary painting competitions for the DipingeRho Association of Rho and for the Pro Loco Cornaredo Art Group.
From the beginning of the specialist two-year period to the present, the opportunities to work in the field of art have not been lacking: I began to deal with art criticism, drawing up biographical catalogs and volumes, brochures and articles for newspapers. Furthermore, thanks to the collaboration of CanoviArte, the Rosetum Artistic Group and several galleries, I have been in charge of organizing events, presenting personal and collective exhibitions in the Lombardy and Piedmont area and promoting artists on local TV.
Italy is a territory rich in art, history and culture. Italy is rich in Artists, Painters, Sculptors, Graphics, Poets, Writers, Designers that is worth to check them out and value them … Hence the reason why have studied this : to promote and valorise the Italian CULTURAL HERITAGE!
